And this is what I did:

1. Download all the debian package in the tutorial, i.e. linux-image-2.6.30-bpo.1-686-bigmem_2.6.30-3~bpo50+1_i386.deb (the computer got 4GB RAM), firmware-iwlwifi, wireless-tools.
2. Install the three using "sudo dpkg -i *.deb" (remember I am not connected into internet)
   
3. It depends on some others but all can be done using Lenny DVD ($ sudo mount -o loop dvdlenny.iso /media/cdrom) using apt-get.
   
4. And wicd_1.5.9-5~bpo50+1_all.deb that deletes network-manager.
5. Open wicd and I'm connected!
